P.R.I.D.E – Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Determination, Enthusiasm
Torbay Tigers were an unknown to Storm this season due to snow postponement, and with Pritchard in London for England trials, and the small fact that the U16s had spent the previous day travelling for two games (see previous articles) this would prove to be an interesting game.
The game started very evenly and Storm surprisingly looked fresh and pushed the transition well, but sloppy defence proved an initial problem allowing Tigers to stay close, the quarter finishing 15:13
Early fouls in the second quarter saw Barnett and Andes M gaining unwanted pine time, but the ever growing confidence of the team, meant it didn't effect them.
This could also go down to the fact that Ahmed Ghalib and Berwin Wilks had their games of the seasons so far both offensively and defensively, dominating the boards and finally trying out their post moves.
The game remained close until midway in the third when Bear turned on the FIRE, and Storm leapt into the lead, a lead they would continue to increase until the end, closing out 70:55
