P.R.I.D.E – Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Determination, Enthusiasm
This Saturday Bristol Storm Women's National League team will be playing their last home game of the season against Taunton Tigers, and it starts a sequence of games that will make or break the season for the team.
Over the next four weekends the women's team will play all the top four teams one more time, and it is so tight at the top nothing but wins will do, to ensure that the team can achieve what it sets out to do.
'We are so close, its taken us a long time to get to this level and be competitive. We sacrificed a lot over the first two years and for those of us that have been here since the start this season has been something we have really looked forward to.' - Ali Toms
'It took us a while for us to get used to playing at this level, but now we can, and I think we all believe we can finish the job we started.' - Nikki Gowing
This years Bristol Storm Women's squad is deep and very strong, and on any day one of fifteen players could step up and do the job for the team, and it is that strength that has continually seen the team improve as the season has progressed.
'I have been truly blessed with this group, training has always been vibrant and busy, players pushing each other all the time, and that competition for places, which is a new experience for all of us, has seen us move forward this year - to the position we find ourselves, and its a nice place to be'. - Coach Brock
After this weekend the team start on what is effectively a three week road trip facing UWIC, Solent and then Birmingham, and at the end of this part of the journey we will know whether the Bristol Storm Women's National League Team 2009/2010 were good enough to be Champions.
If you would like to come to any of the away games to support the team then please let us know, and we'll help sort things out.
